School Session: Simple, Easy-To-Do Makeup Look!

The Blissful Beaute is finally up and running, just in time for everybody’s favorite time of the year! School’s  just around the corner and if you’re someone like me you’re not a fan of those dreaded mornings. What is even worse is waking up knowing that you’re late for your class! Sure, you can throw your yoga pants and sweatshirt on, but why not take 5 minutes of your time to prep yourself up? You never know who you might run into and you might as well look good when that time comes around! Here are some quick, easy tips and steps to achieving that “made up” look, with barely any effort:

1.) It’s the hottest beauty product in the cosmetics world: BB Creme. What’s so great about this product you ask? It evens out your skin tone, protects you from damaging UV rays, and treats blemishes all in one! It’s like a tinted moisturizer- but better. Apply with your fingers and blend out with a brush.

1. Missha BB Cream 2. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream

2.) Add a little sparkle to your eyes. Take a white eyeshadow or loose powder and with an eyeshadow brush place this pigment on the inner corner of your eyes (to brighten and “wake up” your eyes). With a champagne color, sweep this all over your lids for an effortless, “fresh” look to your eyes.

1/2. Sephora Collection Colorful Mono Eyeshadow (Tiny Bubbles & Aspen Summer)

3.) For more depth. Use your favorite mascara with a “curl” applicator (this will save up time from curling your lashes; I recommend one that is waterproof too for all my ladies with straight lashes as this will hold up the curl better!) and then apply a plum colored shadow over your waterline (this will make brown eyes “pop” but looks great and not-so-harsh on all eyes!).

1. Maybelline XXL Curl Power Waterproof Mascara 2. Lancome Le Crayon Kohl

4.) Perk up the look. Add a natural, peachy colored blush to your cheeks for a subtle glow. To complete the look, apply a lip balm/butter (it moisturizes while giving you a tint of color!) to your lips.

1. L’Oreal’s MagicSmooth Souffle Blush in Cherubic 2. Loreal Colour Riche Balm in Rose Elixir

And viola! That’s literally all it takes to freshen up your face in the morning in four simple, quick steps! Try this look out and tell me how it goes. This is not only natural looking, but also “enhances” your beauty effortlessly. This is the first post of the “School Session” series with a simple and quick make up look. In the upcoming week, you’ll see more posts regarding on-the-go outfits, versatile looks (i.e. from school to work, gym to school, etc.), and easy-to-do hairdos.

Have an awesome first week of school to those who have it and to the rest of you all, enjoy your last few weeks of summer!
